Carpet & Rug Cleaning in Abu Dhabi
In short

Abu Dhabi sand does not stay on the surface. It works its way into the pile, grinds against the fibres every time someone walks across the room, and stays there long after the vacuum has finished.

Carpets hold far more than they show. Dust, sand, allergens, food spills and pet odours settle deep in the pile, and a home vacuum only reaches the surface. In Abu Dhabi, where fine sand finds its way into every room, a carpet that looks fine can still be holding months of grit that wears the fibres down.
The Grand Laundry Hub cleans carpets the specialist way. Each carpet is checked for its material and condition, then cleaned with a method that suits it: machine deep cleaning and steam sanitisation for everyday carpets, and gentler, fabric-specific treatment for wool and silk rugs. The result is a carpet that looks brighter, feels softer and smells clean.

Pickup and delivery across Abu Dhabi

Areas we collect from include:
Care tips between cleans
Vacuum twice a week
Regular vacuuming lifts sand before it sinks into the pile, which is what wears carpet fibres down fastest.
Blot spills, never rub
Press a clean white cloth onto a spill to soak it up. Rubbing spreads the stain and pushes it deeper.
Rotate rugs every few months
Turning a rug evens out wear from foot traffic and sunlight, so one side does not fade faster than the other.
Keep strong sun off silk
Silk and fine wool rugs fade in direct light. Curtains or blinds during the brightest hours protect the colour.
Book a deep clean once or twice a year
Homes with children, pets or heavy foot traffic benefit from a professional clean more often.

Questions about carpet cleaning
How much does carpet cleaning cost in Abu Dhabi?
Normal carpets cost AED 10 per square metre and wool or silk rugs AED 25 per square metre. For carpets of any size you can choose a package instead: 2 carpets for AED 200, 3 for AED 250 or 4 for AED 300. Pickup from your door and delivery back are free anywhere in Abu Dhabi.
Do you clean wool and silk rugs?
Yes. Wool and silk rugs are cleaned separately from everyday carpets, using gentle, fabric-specific methods that protect the fibres, the pile and the colours. They are priced at AED 25 per square metre. If your rug is antique, hand-knotted or very delicate, mention it in the booking notes so the team knows before pickup.
How do I work out the size of my carpet?
Measure the length and the width in metres and multiply them. A carpet of 2 m by 3 m is 6 square metres, so a normal carpet of that size costs AED 60. Our calculator also accepts feet and converts them for you. Unsure? Send a photo on WhatsApp and we will help.
Do you collect the carpets from my home?
Yes. We collect carpets from your home or office and deliver them back clean, free of charge on orders over AED 100, anywhere in Abu Dhabi. When you book, you choose the pickup day from the date strip and a three-hour time slot between 10 AM and 10 PM, Saturday to Thursday. Fridays are closed for pickups.
Do you clean carpets for hotels, restaurants and offices?
Yes. Alongside homes, we clean carpets for businesses such as hotels, restaurants and offices, and use industrial machines for larger commercial jobs. Because business orders vary in size, quantity and access, call or WhatsApp us with the details and the team will prepare a quote for your premises.
Is a package or the per-sqm price cheaper for me?
It depends on the size. A package covers normal carpets of any size, so it usually wins for large carpets: two normal carpets of 3 m by 4 m come to 24 sqm, which is AED 288 at the per-sqm rate but only AED 150 as a package. The online calculator compares both and suggests the cheaper option.
Can you remove pet odours from carpets?
Yes. Pet odours are treated as part of the deep clean, together with dust, allergens and stains. Odours that have soaked deep into the backing over a long time can take more than one clean to fade fully, and the team will tell you honestly what to expect when they see the carpet.
